Jesus H. Christ! Thanks to the person from customer service for not canceling my order when I requested it (No sarcasm intended). This pipe is freaking amazing from the box. I placed the order, but looked that it was going to arrive later that expected (it actually did) so a day after I requested to cancel my order, however customer service took too long to reply and by the time they did, they already shipped my order. Once arrived I decided to give it a try. Watched lots of YouTube videos on how to heat it right, and the first try BOOM! Amazing from the very first time. I love this thing. (Task failed successfully)
It's a bit of a learning curve. But once you've found your flow. It's on from there. Great product.
I really wanted to love this bundle. The case is so freaking difficult to open/twist off per the instructions. By the time you get it off, the stash compartnent also detaches and falls off at the same time. The case was half the charm for me, in making things easy and portable, but failed my expectations. :( I feel like I wasted my money and I do not recommend.
Store owner replied: Hi Heather, Here's our quick guide on how to open the Hippie Pipe Holder: 1) Grip firmly with the palm of your hands. 2) Stash drawer facing your body. 3) Twist and Pull the top cover to reveal the compartment for the Pipe and Lighter. 4) For the bottom drawer, just pull it to the side and it will easily slide out to reveal the stash drawer. You can also check out our how to video as a guide. Note: Since it's brand new, the locking mechanism is still tight and makes it hard to open at first. But eventually, after a few times, it'll loosen and it'll be easier to open.
First of all I have several handfuls of TEDs, of all sorts of varieties. From butane, battery powered, and desktop. The Hippie Pipe X in Ebony has got to be one of my favorite. The taste is out of this world, so clean. I honestly feel it exceeds the bar, it is just wonderful. The ease of use makes for quick and easy loading or unloading, with no extra parts! If you snag the bundle like I did it comes with the dual flame torch lighter and a dope stash case that has a SS lined sleeve for the HPX, a slot for the torch, and even a secret slide out stash box for your herb. I can’t say enough good about this device. It’ll be one that stays with me ‘til the end of days.

As a vocalist and healing practitioner, I find this to be everything I was looking for. I told my brother to get a kit like this, then when browsing the internet for a new pipe of my own I came across this. I wanted something that was easily concealed, had a case with it and could give me cool, filtered hits without having too large of a unit

I'd been looking for an analog vape (for flower) and tried other electric ones, and was not impressed. I took the plunge and ordered the Hippie Pipe X bundle because it was non-electric, and so far, I have been very happy with its performance. The herb is toasted but difficult to combust if you take it easy on the pre-heat. I was a little disappointed in the included lighter as it seems to run out of fuel quickly, but I am not taking it anywhere I won't have access to the tank. The case is difficult to open, but it is getting easier as it wears in. The heat-proof storage is a great feature as the pipe stays too hot to handle for a while. Overall, I love this new utensil and plan to use it from now on.
The x pipe is a game changer! So simple to use and share! Highly recommend the bundle too as it keeps it all together!
So I love the concept of this device. It has soo much potential! I really love the telescopic chamber and the overall look and feel is fantastic. My only issue at this point, and it seems this is across the board with other users, the small combustion window. Since the indicator and rounded, heatable tip were taken away for the hippie pipe x, there was no way to know if I had been cooking the herbs evenly or thoroughly. I felt that the vapor I did get, while tasty, was very light unless I pushed it a little longer in which case it usually combusted within another second or two. That's the issue with on-demand, rapid heating with a vaporizer. The holes on the tip allow for light convection action but it doesn't seem to help with cooking the contents evenly. It almost seems counter-intuitive as since it is so close to the heat-up area, the flame tends to peak around the edge and enter in through the holes, combusting the contents. I'm sure with much more practice I can get it working beautifully and it would be a perfect piece in that case. The holder really does make this an all in one, fantastic device.

I received my new HIPPIE today and absolutely love it. Nice & compact, easy to use & clean and a nice compartment for stash. I would recommend buying the package and getting The Hippie pipe, lighter and storage case because it’s a good deal…
So far the pipe is cool nice terpy taste. The case is plastic and the weed carry part could use work . It was just ok ,my lighter didn't work at all so I'm just using an old torch I have. Just get the pipe you will feel less cheated . The case and lighter are not worth it. Wish I had read the reviews first guess I'm not the first with a bad lighter .

The shipping was fast. The packaging was nicer than a lot of competitors. Case seems to be both durable and discreet. The lighter functions properly. The actual pipe feels nice and I think when I am able to get the ritual down, it will be as good or better than my Dynavap. Two thumbs up.

Well first off, I have to refill that lighter pretty much every day. I picked it up hoping I might be able to use it on dog walks and it's not good for that either. It seems to me an overly complicated solution to something that should have just been integral (i.e. battery powered induction). I was debating between this and a protopipe. I kinda wish I had gone with the protopipe. I used it for a few days but after having to constantly be refilling that lighter, it's now in the drawer out of active rotation.
Great pipe. With the collar it makes it easier to dial in. Bought the ispire wand and they work perfectly together. The case is fine, does its job and allows you to carry all you need. Can take time to get used to opening it when it's new. Now the lighter. Didn't try right away because of the wand, but when I wanted to check out after a few weeks found it didn't work. Clicks but no gas comes out, not will it accept refill. Contacted hippie pipe but after back and forths, sending proof of it not working, got tired of looking to them for help so found an alternative elsewhere. That alone makes me not completely confident in recommending them. If ya get the bundle check everything right away.

I purchased the Hippy X after watching a YouTube review. I'm trying very hard to love this pipe. We're having a love hate relationship. Suggested fixes: 1) make at least one side flat to stop it from rolling away. 2) do something to prevent burning fingers and lips. The heat transfers through to your lips. Maybe an airgap in the center of the pipe, a non metallic material slows the heat transfer to your lips. 3) seems I have to refill the lighter each use or two. That's annoying when for the same price with a battery life of over a day on an hours charge. Wishing I had a butane candle. 4) make the bottom of the bundle holder flat so it can be set down if need be. What if... There was a stand which held the pipe while it heated to a proper temp (thermometer would be a nice option) I'm still wanting to love this pipe but I'm just not there yet. I'm considering a possible return, which would make me sad. I DO LOVE THE IDEA AND CONCEPT. I want to buy one for a friend of mine but I'll wait for the next version or the one after that. I hope we can live that long.

upon initial use, the overall experience was a zero. first, the lid on the case was incredibly difficult to remove. i don't, but if you have an arthritic condition, forget it. also, the vapor quality and taste is less than spectacular. and in the end, just an unnecessarily amount of butane to keep this going. save your money, will definitely be returning.

This pipe was a great purchase with the case. I normally would purchase anything like this but after using it became part of my routine. I cannot recommend this pipe enough.

The bundle is good. The pipe can be very strong if that’s what you like otherwise you have to take it easy with the torch. I haven’t had a chance to clean it yet but it reserves a lot of tobacco.
Dig it ! There is a slight learning curve on timing the heatup, so the herb doesnt combust. Unleash the hippie in you and get ya one!
The X seems easier to use than the original. Larger chamber. First puff is all terrines, and really wonderful. So much cleaner than burning. Not mentioned in the ad, the case has a metal socket for the X to go into, so you don't seem to have to wait for it to cool, just dump the chamber, and put it away. Great touch.
The Hippie X Bundle is easier to use and easier to carry around than other methods of use. The product seems to work better in the pipe, giving better flavor and more bang for the buck.
