Filling the Lighter

1. Lower the flame setting: Turn the flame-adjustment dial fully toward the negative or minimum position.
2. Bleed the chamber: Release any remaining gas or air from the lighter’s refill valve before adding new fuel.
3. Position the lighter: Hold the lighter securely with the refill valve accessible.
4. Insert the fuel nozzle: Press the nozzle of a compatible butane canister firmly into the refill valve.
5. Fill the chamber: Apply multiple controlled pumps of butane according to the included user manual.
6. Allow the fuel to settle: Wait before ignition and follow any waiting period stated in the user manual.

Operating the Lighter

1. Open the cap: Move the attached manual cap away from the burner area.
2. Start with low output: Set the flame adjustment near its lowest practical level.
3. Ignite the lighter: Use the ignition control according to the supplied manual.
4. Apply controlled heat: Direct the flame only toward the designated metal heating area of the compatible device.
5. Stop heating: Release the ignition control when the required heat has been applied.
6. Cool before storing: Let the burner area cool before closing the cap or placing the lighter inside the Pipe Holder.
